10 Ways To Improve Body Self-Esteem

How we feel about our bodies is key to living a healthy and vibrant life! How we treat our bodies is a reflection of the dedication of self. How are you honoring your body?

Body concept is a cognitive structure stemming from an economic system that capitalizes from the perceived images of how WE feel about our bodies. SO maybe if we change how we feel about ourselves without the imposed images we may make a shift on how we feel about ourselves. Each one of us are divine expressions of the Creator/Creatress. We are born PERFECT!

Here are some tips to stepping into SELF-LOVE:

1. Positive Affirmations- Repeat 3xs a day while looking in the mirror ( Example: I am Beautiful. I am perfect just the way I am).

2. Exercise- Exercising is a way to produce endorphins to decrease depression and movement helps to connect with your body.

3. Take Sensual Bath- When your are relaxed and feel good it increase self awareness. Self-care is self-love.

4. Diet- You are what you eat! Be aware of what you put into your body and be more observing of the effects. Make sure you have a diet to fresh and live food to help keep you healthy and vibrant.

5. Touch- Take time to touch yourself . It can be a self hug. Rubbing lotion on your body. Self-pleasure. Touch is healing. We must be ok with providing our own selves the nurturing that we require.

6. Dress Up! Don't wait for a date to decide to go out and look pretty. Put that dress on! Wear some heels! Put some good smelling oils on and go out and have some fun. Dinner....Dancing...or for the HELL OF IT!

7. Bodywork. Go get a massage. Reflexology. Do something to honor as well as relax the body.

8. Mindfulness. It is important to be in a state of mindfulness. Being in the present. Be aware of your thoughts and response to others.

9. Go dancing! Get those hips moving. Put some sensual music on and get to swaying . Its ok to feel yourself! Release. Have fun. Get loose! Take a pole dance class!

10. Take a nude photo shoot! Accepting your body is the first step to LOVING YOUR BODY!
